BATTLE 19 Main Event

Undefeated Prospect Meets Battle-Tested Veteran
When the cage door closes at Battle MMA Championships 19, one of Colorado's fastest-rising prospects will face the most experienced opponent of his professional career.
Ronin Lee enters the main event with a perfect 4-0 professional record and has looked dominant throughout his young career. Fighting out of Pariah MMA, Lee has established himself as one of the most promising fighters on the Colorado regional scene, finishing all four of his professional victories by submission, including consecutive rear-naked choke victories over Marc Hummel and Bizjhan Bahadori. His ability to find the back and finish fights has quickly made him one of the most dangerous grapplers in Battle MMA. His last four professional wins have all ended before the final bell.
Standing across from him will be Colombia's Dumar "El Legendario Samurai" Roa, a veteran with nearly 50 professional fights to his name. While Roa's record may not jump off the page, experience is something that cannot be manufactured. Roa has competed throughout Latin America and has fought under notable banners including Combate Global, Brave CF, Fury FC, and Lux Fight League. He has shared the cage with high-level competition and has seen nearly every style imaginable throughout his long career.
This matchup presents a classic prospect-versus-veteran storyline.
For Lee, this fight represents another opportunity to prove he belongs among the top prospects in the region. At 4-0, every performance matters. A dominant victory over a seasoned veteran would further establish him as one of Battle MMA's premier lightweight contenders and continue the momentum that has surrounded his rapid rise.
For Roa, the stakes are equally significant. Veterans often become dangerous when overlooked, and Roa's experience advantage could prove valuable if he can force Lee into unfamiliar situations. While many opponents have viewed Roa as a stepping stone, he has spent years competing against talented prospects looking to make a name for themselves.
The keys to victory are clear.
Lee will likely look to use his size, athleticism, and grappling pressure to dictate where the fight takes place. At 6-foot tall, he owns a significant height advantage and has consistently shown an ability to secure submissions once the fight hits the mat.
Roa's path to victory likely depends on using his experience, composure, and veteran savvy to drag the fight into deeper waters. If he can survive the early storm and force Lee into extended exchanges, he may be able to test aspects of the undefeated prospect's game that have not yet been fully explored.
On paper, Lee enters as the favorite. He is younger, undefeated, and carries momentum into the biggest fight of his career. However, experience remains one of the most dangerous weapons in combat sports, and Roa has far more professional cage time than any opponent Lee has faced to date.
When the main event begins, Battle MMA fans will find out whether the future belongs to Colorado's rising star or whether the seasoned veteran can spoil the party.
One thing is certain: this matchup will tell us a lot about where Ronin Lee stands in his development and whether he is ready to take the next step in his professional career.
